We’ve seen Ben Affleck suit up as (a very sad) Batman. Now Henry Cavill is donning his Superman gear once again.
Warner Bros. tweeted an image of a rain-soaked Cavill bearing the S on his chest yet somehow remaining undeterred by the weather.

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” director Zack Snyder talked to USA Today about the nature of Superman and Batman’s interactions in the movie, which is currently filming in Detroit. The “v” in the title — instead of “vs.” — implies that it won’t be a straightforward clash between the two superheroes. Snyder views it as a way “to keep it from being a straight ‘versus’ movie, even in the most subtle way.”
Snyder capitalized on Batman’s entire 75-year legacy when determining how Bruce Wayne and his alter ego would be portrayed. “Dawn of Justice” will come with a wearier Batman, seemingly more aligned with Christopher Nolan’s take. “It’s cooler to see a crusty old Batman beating the snot out of guys,” he said.
“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” opens May 6, 2016. Head over to USA Today to read more about what Snyder has to say about “Dawn of Justice.”
