Coming off of yesterday’s announcement that Thor will become unworthy of wielding his hammer Mjolnir — leading to a new female Thor taking his place — Marvel Comics has released an image of what unworthy Thor looks like.

As you can see, he’s a little worse for wear. With his signature hammer no longer being an option, he has once again picked up his ax Jarnborn, a weapon he wielded in his younger days before he ever picked up Mjolnir. While it can’t control the storms and propel him through the air, it does have the power to slay gods, so at least that’s something.
