Outriders developer People Can Fly canceled its co-op action RPG game, Project Dagger, on April 5.
According to an investor report first spotted by Twitter user MauroNL3, People Can Fly decided to stop development on the project due to a re-analysis of the game’s scope and commercial viability after redefining its direction.
People Can Fly will write off 100% of the game as a business expenditure and reduce the company’s standalone 2023 financial result by 68.3 million Polish zloty, or $16.9 million USD. Its consolidated balance sheet will also be reduced by 79.9 million Polish zloty, or about $19.8 million USD.
