'RuPaul's Drag Race' Changes Controversial Tagline For Season 7

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” is about to unleash some new drag slang into the world.

In the previous seasons of the hit reality TV show, each episode started with the contestants gathering in the workroom and watching a video message from Ru with the tagline, “You’ve got she-mail.”

Last year, controversy surrounding this phrase and a mini-challenge called “Female or She-male” caused producers to edit the tagline out of all episodes and even pull that specific episode from the Internet.

This year, the phrase “She done already done had herses” is slated to replace “You’ve got she-mail” as the intro to Ru’s video messages.

As Gay Star News pointed out, we first heard this phrase coined as a “Drag Race” idiom when the queens were asked to guess RuPaul quotes as part of a mini challenge.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” season seven kicks off on Monday, March 2 at 9pm ET on Logo. For more info, head here.
