The first image from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has been released, showing a moody, rain-soaked Superman.

Earlier in the week, a behind-the-scenes image showed Henry Cavill as Clark Kent, but this gives us a much better look at the direction of Zack Snyder’s sequel.

The image, debuted by USA Today, suggests a much darker tone than Man of Steel at first glance.
