Sophia Grace Brownlee To Get Rich With Direct-To-Video Series

Eleven-year-old Sophia Grace Brownlee, one half of Ellen Degeneres’ favorite song-covering duo, “Sophia Grace and Rosie”, is set to make big money for her work on the small screen.

According to TMZ, which obtained a copy of the child star’s five-picture deal, Brownlee already made $50,000 for the recently released “Sophia Grace and Rosie’s Royal Adventure.” She will reportedly earn $75,000 per film should the producers choose to make second and third installments, and $100,000 per film should they make a fourth and fifth.

The pre-teen rose to fame alongside her cousin, Rosie McClelland, in 2011 when a video of the two singing Nicki Minaj’s “Superbass” went viral overnight. Ellen Degeneres then featured the pair on her show, and has since had them back on a regular basis as guests.

TMZ did not obtain a copy of McClelland’s deal, but the site reports that she is signed for sequels.

According to Deadline.com, the direct-to-video project is part of a deal with Ellen DeGeneres’ production company that also includes a TV series script commitment from NBC.
