What Did You Think of This Week's Comics?

Welcome to the newest edition of IGN Comics’ weekly comic book reviews. As far as geek culture goes this week, most eyes are on E3. And even comic publishers seemed to respond accordingly, as this week was a bit slower than usual. But that doesn’t mean there weren’t plenty of great books to go around.

DC kicked off Infinity Man and the Forever People and had a strong week thanks to Detective Comics #32 and Batgirl #32 (complete with a big twist ending). Meanwhile, Marvel released some excellent new installments of Secret Avengers, Avengers Undercover, and All-New X-Men.

Several indie publishers came out with guns blazing this week. Boom! launched a promising new book in the form of The Empty Man #1, while Image countered with new books Wildfire #1 and Red City #1, as well as a new issue of The Walking Dead. We covered all of those books and many more in this week’s roundup. Check out our reviews and let us know what you read this week in the comments section below.
