Marvel and Hollywood Records will be releasing three albums of music from Guardians of the Galaxy, set to arrive in stores a few days before the movie hits screens.
The Guardians of the Galaxy Deluxe album features the classic 1970’s pop/rock tunes included in the film, as well as the score from Watchmen composer Tyler Bates.

If you’d like just Bates’ score, there will be a Guardians of the Galaxy digital score soundtrack release. This is the third film director James Gunn has done with Bates as composer. Bates’ soundtrack for Guardians was partially completed early so that it could be used to give the actors a better sense of the tone and gravitas in certain scenes while filming, says Gunn, “Our actors have a much better idea of what this film is because of the music that we use, both score and soundtrack.”
